Each Monday here on the Red Bloom Realty Blog, I highlight a home in the Triangle that is in the mid-century style.
Outside, it’s all mid-century angles. Inside, it’s all contemporary layout and design. The words “polished” and “refined” come to mind when I look at the interior. The word “cool” is all I think when seeing the outside. This 1972 home has been completely redone, but it retains a uniqueness and nods to the past (sputnik light over the dining room, use of unpainted wood accents on the stairs, beams, and front door). I love the double-sided fireplace, too.
The home has 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. Its 2076 square feet actually feels even larger thanks to the cathedral ceilings and open plan. The asking price is $565,000 for this Raleigh beauty.
