Each Monday here on the Red Bloom Realty Blog, I am going to highlight a home in the Triangle that is in the mid-century style.  Even if you’re not familiar with that term, you are likely familiar with the style itself. While the term is somewhat hard to define, it is used to describe a style of homes either built in the mid-1900s (approximately 1940-1970) or inspired by the design of that time period.  They are often angular, minimalist, and connect the outdoors with the inside.  The open spaces of many of these homes connect them to the current open-concept trend, and their frequent use of large panes of glass often give them plenty of light and views.
